CHALLENGES IN TEACHING TERMINOLOGY IN THE FIELD OF ICT AND STRATEGIES FOR OVERCOMING THEM
Abstract
The teaching of terminology in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) presents unique challenges due to the rapid growth of the discipline, the integration of English as the lingua franca, and the limited availability of localized teaching resources. This paper explores the main linguistic, pedagogical, and cultural difficulties faced by learners and teachers of ICT terminology. It also proposes effective strategies for overcoming these challenges, with a particular focus on contextual learning, digital resources, and learner-centered approaches.
