PRINCIPLES OF LEXICAL SELECTION IN CHILDREN’S LITERARY TEXTS AND THEIR IMPACT ON LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
The written works and illustrations produced for children are aimed at educating or entertaining youngsters. The article looks at an important part of children's literature. Adults cannot read children's literature as children do or as children themselves Children's literature covers the age range of infancy through early adolescence.
