USING PUNCTUATION MARKS IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE
Abstract
In this article, the author made an attempt to reveal the semantic foundations of English punctuation.The purpose of this article is to try to reveal the semantic foundations of English punctuation within the speech complex.The relevance of the topic is determined by the ever-increasing interest in the issue of punctuation, which often turns out to be controversial. Along with the presence of a large number of teaching aids on punctuation and spelling rules, indicating the serious importance of this section of grammar, modern linguistics, according to many linguists, unfortunately still does not have comprehensive theoretical studies that reveal the fundamental points related to semantic the basics of punctuation
