THE SCIENTIFIC HERITAGE OF ABU RAYHAN BIRUNI AND ITS ROLE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF WORLD SCIENCE

Abstract

This article analyzes the life, scientific activities, and immense contribution to world science of Abu Rayhan Beruni-a brilliant encyclopedic scholar and prominent representative of the Eastern Renaissance in Central Asia during the 9th-12th centuries-based on modern scientific and methodological approaches. Furthermore, it scientifically substantiates the contemporary relevance of studying the scholar's heritage and its role in the upbringing of the younger generation.
