In this article, the author Amir Timur, who occupied an important place in the history of Uzbek statehood, and the issues of historiography of the history of the Timurid state are covered based on the analysis of available sources. It is known that during this period, along with several fields of science, the science of history experienced its development process, and these rare sources created in the XIV-XVI centuries continue to attract world and local researchers to this day.
