Abstract

This article investigates anthropocentric phraseological units in English and Uzbek languages, aiming to uncover cultural nuances and linguistic patterns inherent in human-centered expressions. Through a comparative analysis of idiomatic expressions, proverbs, and metaphors, this study examines the cultural significance of anthropocentric phraseology in both languages, shedding light on the ways in which language reflects and shapes human experiences. By exploring the cultural dimensions embedded within English and Uzbek phraseological units, this research contributes to a deeper understanding of language, culture, and cognition in diverse linguistic contexts.
