Abstract

The subject of the study is the patterns of modern written communication during its use in Internet communication. The structural basis of the study is the examination of the development of symbols in nonverbal components of communication (SNCC). The research hypothesis posits that SNCC is evolving into a new means of communication that combines features of both written and oral speech. The result of the study was the conclusion that SNKK are becoming a necessary means of Internet communication, as well as a certain cultural code reflecting the cognitive characteristics of a virtual personality.
