CHALLENGES AND EFFECTIVE METHODS OF TEACHING ENGLISH IN MILITARY LEARNERS

Despite the recent establishment of military-academic lyceums “Temurbeklar maktabi,” there remain unresolved issues related to the teaching and learning of foreign languages within this military educational framework. This article will address the challenges that arise when teaching foreign languages to students in these military academic lyceums. It will also propose effective strategies, such as Task-based and Inquiry-based teaching methods, for enhancing foreign language instruction. The article will detail how these methods can be implemented successfully in the classroom and highlight their relevance for teaching military students. Emphasizing the importance of these approaches, the article asserts that they are particularly beneficial for improving oral communication skills, including listening and speaking abilities.
