SYNONYMS USED IN THE EPIC OF KHALDORKHAN

Abstract

This article explores the use of synonyms in the epic of Khaldorkhan, highlighting their role in enriching the narrative and enhancing its poetic and stylistic qualities. By analyzing the linguistic and semantic features of synonymous expressions within the epic, the study reveals how these lexical choices contribute to the portrayal of characters, events, and cultural values. The research provides insights into the linguistic creativity of the epic’s author, emphasizing the significance of synonymy in the oral and literary traditions of the region. The findings also underline the importance of synonyms in preserving the richness and diversity of the Uzbek language.
