Abstract

This article examines the impact of vestibular gymnastics on the coordination abilities of young football players aged 15–16. An analysis of scientific and methodological literature, along with practical research, demonstrates that vestibular stability plays a crucial role in developing the technical and tactical skills of athletes. The ability to maintain balance in high-intensity football gameplay enhances the effectiveness of motor actions such as shooting, passing, dribbling, and maneuvering around opponents.

The study reveals that the age-specific characteristics of sensitive periods for coordination ability development require a specialized approach to training. Despite a considerable number of studies on football players' coordination training, the influence of vestibular gymnastics on the coordination abilities of 15–16-year-old athletes remains insufficiently explored. This highlights the need for further investigation into specialized methodologies aimed at improving vestibular stability and substantiating their effectiveness in the training process.
