ARTISTIC PSYCHOLOGISM IN UZBEK AND RUSSIAN PROSE
Abstract
The article describes the evolution of the novella genre, spanning almost one hundred and fifty years, indicates the presence of still unexplored aspects of the human psyche. In the context of the development of thought and the complexity of human psychology, the scale of artistic thinking must take on a transformative significance. In modern Uzbek literary studies, the problem of artistic psychologism in the poetics of the novella plays an important role in identifying relevant issues. The creative balance in Uzbek prose, on the one hand, originates from the folklore of Turkic peoples, and on the other, is enriched by research in world and Russian classics. Particularly influential were L. Tolstoy, F. Dostoevsky, F. Kafka, A. Camus, J. Joyce, and other representatives of sentimentalism and realism.
