CRITICAL THINKING AND ACADEMIC ATTAINMENT IN LANGUAGE LEARNING
Abstract
This scientific article examines the relationship between critical thinking and academic attainment in language learning. Critical thinking is a crucial skill that enables students to analyze information, evaluate arguments, and enhance their language proficiency. This study explores the impact of critical thinking on various language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Through empirical research and theoretical analysis, the study highlights the benefits of fostering critical thinking in language education. The findings indicate that students with strong critical thinking abilities perform better academically and demonstrate improved linguistic competence. The paper concludes with pedagogical recommendations for integrating critical thinking into language learning curricula.
