EQUITY AND ACCESSIBILITY IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE TRAINING
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to investigate the ideas of equity and accessibility in foreign language education by reviewing their theoretical basis, real-world implementation, existing challenges, and possible ways to address them. The discussion shows that language classrooms grounded in equity and accessibility enhance not only students’ academic performance but also their confidence, motivation, and sense of belonging. Consequently, modern educational perspectives emphasize the need for inclusive, learner-centered approaches that reduce barriers and promote equal opportunities for success. Through an examination of modern teaching approaches, digital tools, and inclusive methods, the article emphasizes the significance of creating learning environments that accommodate the diverse needs of all learners.
