Abstract

This article presents the effectiveness of using counterattack techniques in the competitive activities of athletes engaged in judo wrestling. Counter-attacking actions play a crucial role in modern in wrestling, as they allow athletes to opponents’ mistakes also rapid transition from defense to offence. The purpose of this research is to is to identify and substantiate effective training methods aimed at enhancing the efficiency of counter-attacking techniques among freestyle wrestlers. The study involved a group of athletes divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group followed a specialized training program focused on developing counter-attacking skills through situational drills, reaction-based exercises, and tactical simulations, while the control group continued traditional training methods. The effectiveness of the program was assessed through performance indicators such as execution speed, accuracy of techniques, and success rate in competitive situations.
