LINGUISTIC AND SOCIAL CHARACTERISTICS OF ERGONYMS IN THE TOPONYMIC SYSTEM
Abstract
This article analyzes the concept of "ergonym"—the names of organizations, enterprises, and institutions—within the field of linguistics, focusing on their essence and etymological origins. Furthermore, it presents scientific reflections on the role of this concept within both global and Uzbek linguistics.
